Daguerrotype was invented by Louis Jaques Mande Daguerre and introduced world wide in 1836 . An English scientist and astronomer Sir John Herschel discovered the procedure in 1842.
The chemicals used in cyanotype are : Potassium ferricyanide and Ferric ammonium citrate (green) are mixed with water separately . To create my cyanotype first we had to choose a negative paper with an image then under that we placed a yellow paper where the negative yellow paper laid . We were able to choose any object that we wanted to then we lay a clear plastic flat surface on top of the negative along with the objects . Leave it out in the sun for 5 minutes . After it has been in the sun for the correct amount of time you lay it in water and stir it around then add a few drops of Hydrogen peroxide until the image turns very blue you take it out to dry and its set .
